PLUG VALVE MEETS “BUY
AMERICAN” PROVISION
The Cam-Centric plug valve meets
the “Buy American” provision of
the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is part of Val-
Matic Valve & Mfg. Corp.’s entirely compliant product line.
Available in sizes ½ to 48 inches,
the plug valve features a 100%
port full flow design, which minimizes headloss and energy
consumption.
The Vee-type packing is field adjustable and may be
replaced without removing the actuator. The Grit Guard
seals protect the packing from both wastewater and water
media, and the POP shims prevent packing from being over-tightened. A thick nickel seat is welded directly to the valve
body and the resilient-faced plug ensures a tight seal and
trouble-free service.

POLYETHYLENE PIPING SYSTEM
In response to market need for
a fully integrated system solu-
tion, GF Piping Systems has
introduced the chemically
resistant PE100 industrial
polyethylene piping system,
available in a complete range
of pipe, fittings, valves and
fusion joining technologies. The new system features robust
mechanical strength and high impact resistance throughout
a wide temperature range and is especially suited for cold
temperature applications as low as -58° F (- 50° C). Suitable
applications include fluid transport for process cooling
water, industrial water treatment, bulk water distribution
and chemical processing across a variety of industries.
The new PE100 system is available in pipe sizes from 2-
inch to 36-inch with molded fittings from 2-inch to 12-inch
and fabricated fittings from 14-inch to 36-inch. Also offered
is a full line of compatible-sized valves including compact
tee, ball, diaphragm, butterfly and check styles.

ELECTRIC LINEAR SERVOACTUATION
Moog has unveiled an
electric linear servoactuation solution, which
has been designed as
an alternative to
hydraulic actuation.
Engineers can apply
Moog’s electric actuation to a multitude of general industrial applications including damper control, security barriers,
pick-and-place robotics and metal forming presses.
The innovative design of Moog’s ball screw, which translates rotational motion to linear motion inside the servoac-tuator, extends its life by twice that of traditional designs.
And although Moog’s electric linear actuation solution
draws less power than hydraulic alternatives, it sacrifices
none of the precision, speed and productivity engineers need.

Caplugs line of vinyl flange protectors offer greater protection
