Spirax Sarco Announces Plant
Expansion in South Carolina
Spirax Sarco is expanding its Blythewood, SC operation to
accommodate growth in its steam system solutions business.
The new facility has more than 35,800 square feet of office
and production space.
Flowserve Abahsain Joint Venture Opens
Valve Manufacturing Plant in Saudi Arabia
Flowserve and Saudi Arabia’s S&A Abahsain Co. have formally inaugurated a new valve manufacturing plant and
training center in the Dammam Second Industrial City. The
facility is operated by Flowserve Abahsain Flow Control Co.,
a joint venture of Flowserve and S&A Abahsain.
Mark Blinn, president and CEO of Flowserve; Tom
Pajonas, COO of Flowserve; and John Lenander, vice president and general manager, Flowserve Flow Control Division,
oil & gas sector were all present for the groundbreaking ceremony.
ITT Completes Upgrade, Expansion of
Salto, Brazil Facility
ITT Corporation has completed upgrade and expansion of its
facility in Salto, Brazil. In addition to increasing the plant’s
overall efficiency, the upgrade and expansion allow ITT to
better serve the oil and gas market through enhanced quality
processes and test capabilities, as well as expanded product
lines, including American API-certified overhung and
between-bearing pumps. The facility also offers additional
slurry valves and pumps for mining customers.
Hemiwedge Ramps up Operations at
New Woodlands Manufacturing Facility
Chromatic Industries, Inc. has ramped up production of its
Hemiwedge Valve product at a new specialized manufacturing facility located just north of The Woodlands, TX, near the
intersection of I- 45 and FM 242 (Needham Rd) at 15-B
South Trade Center Parkway. Chromatic began a full schedule
at the new 30,000-square-foot facility in November 2011.
