VALVE WORLD CONFERENCE
& EXPO 2008
The Valve World Conference & Expo 2008 is the only global
educational and networking event for flow control professionals. Scheduled to take place at the Maastricht Expo &
Congress Centre in Maastricht, The Netherlands, Nov. 4-6,
2008, Valve World is a truly international platform where
piping, valve and flow control professionals can update their
knowledge of valve applications in a variety of industries and
learn about the products and services offered by more than
400 exhibitors.
VMA/Valve Magazine will be among the exhibitors, and in
addition to informing visitors about the association and its

Houston, Oct. 12-14. A number of VMA members will be
exhibiting products such as valves, actuators, controls and
other types of instrumentation.
The event attracts individuals from all facets of the
industry, including management, engineering, production,
IT and R&D professionals responsible for automation, control systems, plantwide communications/networks, plant
operations and maintenance, and systems integration.
The conference will feature six Exchange Conference
Tracks centered on key issues facing the automation and
control market: security technology, process automation
technology, environmental and quality control technology,
wireless and networking technology, safety technology, and
enterprise integration technology.

The largest water quality event in the world—the 81st Annual
Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference—is set for Oct. 18-22 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The latest in water quality research, technology and services will be on display for the nearly 20,000 visitors expected
