GAS REGULATORS
Richard Industries’ Jordan Valve has increased its gas
pressure regulator product breadth by adding two new
products. The Jordan Mark 627 is a self-operated, pres-sure-reducing regulator designed to provide accurate regulation and tight shutoff on low or high pressure systems.
It can be used on
air, natural gas or
a variety of other
gases.
The Mark 627
can handle inlet
pressures to 2000
psi (137, 9 bar). It
features a tamper-resistant protective cap, and the
top entry design
allows easy in-line maintenance. The standard 316 stainless-steel orifice is available in six different sizes. The
carbon steel body has FNPT end connections and is available in 3/4-inch (DN20), 1-inch (DN25) and 2-inch
(DN50) sizes.

Upgraded Transmitter
with High Speed Signal
Processing
Emerson Process Management has
upgraded the Micro Motion 9739 transmitter to include multivariable-digital
(MVD) technology for faster performance and
improved measurement accuracy. Existing users are supported with an easy-to-install retrofit kit that provides a
convenient and cost-effective upgrade path.
MVD technology is high-speed signal processing,
embedded in electronics, to deliver measurement accuracy in tough conditions. The front-end digital processing
MVD technology offers reduced signal noise while delivering a faster response time to improve the overall measurement quality.
This transmitter is a well-established product with
over 100,000 installed worldwide with various Micro
Motion Coriolis sensors. The retrofit kit brings the benefits of MVD technology to existing 9-wire Micro Motion
Coriolis flow and density meters. The kit is easily installed
in minutes, using the existing housing and without the
need for any piping or wiring changes.
